Frequently Asked Questions

1. What ages do you accept?

We serve children ages 3 to 5. Children must be fully potty-trained and developmentally ready for an outdoor, small-group learning environment.

2. Where is your school located?

We meet in outdoor locations across North Dallas. Specific meeting locations are shared with enrolled families for safety and planning.

3. What are your hours and schedule options?

Our program runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Families may enroll in
2-day, 3-day, or 5-day options depending on availability.

4. What is the tuition?

  • 2-day program: $160/month

  • 3-day program: $210/month

  • 5-day program: $300/month
    We also charge a one-time
registration and materials fee to cover year-round supplies.

5. What happens if the weather is bad?

We meet outdoors in most weather, rain or shine! We only cancel in extreme weather (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds, or unsafe heat/cold).
Families are given a detailed
weather policy and a gear guide to ensure children are always prepared.

6. What do children need to bring each day?

A full gear checklist is provided at enrollment. Essentials include:

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Sturdy shoes or boots

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Lunch and snacks

  • Backpack with change of clothes

  • Optional: nature journal, Bible, or small blanket for rest time

7. How is Christian faith integrated into the day?

We begin each day with prayer, and incorporate Bible stories, songs, and worship throughout our rhythm.
Faith is not taught as a separate subject but woven into every part of our
play, exploration, and community life.

8. What does a typical day look like?

Our days are gently structured with:

  • Morning gathering and prayer

  • Circle time with worship or story

  • Outdoor exploration and nature activities

  • Creative, child-led play

  • Shared lunch and group rest

  • Reflections and blessings to close the day
You can view a sample schedule on our
    Daily Rhythm page.

9. How do you support children with different needs?

We believe every child is wonderfully made. While we are not a specialized program, we do our best to accommodate diverse learning needs and provide gentle structure, emotional support, and responsive teaching. Let us know your child’s needs during enrollment and we’ll see how we can best support them.

10. What is your approach to discipline?

We use a grace-based, respectful discipline approach grounded in empathy and connection.
We guide children through natural consequences, redirection, and reflection—never shaming or punishing. We model healthy communication and work closely with parents if challenges arise.

11. How do I enroll or connect with your team?

Visit our Contact Page to:

  • Ask questions

  • Start the conversation about your family’s needs

  • Request enrollment forms
Spots are limited to 12 children, so we recommend reaching out early.

12. Can my child attend just one day a week or drop in occasionally?

At this time, we do not offer single-day or drop-in attendance. Children thrive best in consistent rhythms, and our program is structured around regular attendance.

13. Do you provide snacks or lunch?

Families are responsible for providing nutritious snacks and lunch for their children. We encourage simple, whole-food options and ask that you avoid foods that may contain common allergens if shared.

14. Are you licensed?

We operate as a faith-based private nature program, not a state-licensed daycare. However, our team includes a licensed childcare director and a licensed speech-language pathologist, and we adhere to high safety, training, and developmental standards.
